Midcareer professionals who are Lebanese citizens or Palestinian residents in Lebanon can apply for this fellowship.
The U.S. Embassy in Beirut invites Lebanese and Palestinian nationals ages 30 to 50 with a proven track record of leadership and a commitment to public service to apply for the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program for the 2019-2020 academic year.
Candidates should have at least five years of professional experience and a minimum of a bachelor's degree. Strong English-language skills are required.
Candidates must submit an essay related to one of the Humphrey fields they are interested in working, explaining their motives to participate in the program and how they would apply the program benefits in their home country.
The deadline is Aug. 17.
