Carolina Foundation offers journalism Scholarship [Latin America]

Journalists, media specialists and students from member states of the Organization of the Ibero-American States can apply for a scholarship to undertake postgraduate studies in Spain.

The Carolina Foundation has launched its 2020-2021 graduate scholarship program. The program covers most of the enrollment fee, the round trip ticket from the place of residence of the fellow, a monthly stipend of EUR750 (US$832) and medical insurance.

Those interested can apply for a scholarship to study a variety of journalism and communication master's degrees.

Applicants must have a strong academic or professional background as demonstrated by their resume.

The deadline to apply is March 10.

Program focuses on German journalism [US]

College students can apply for a study program on journalism in Germany.

The RIAS Berlin Commission will select up to 15 students for its Berlin Program, which will run June 28 to July 18.

Participants will learn more about journalism in Germany, the role that broadcasters played during the  Cold  War and the current political landscape of Germany.

The organizer will provide air travel, local transportation, accommodations and some meals.

The program is co-funded by  the Transatlantic Program of  the  Government of the Federal  Republic  of Germany,

The deadline is Feb. 15.
