WAN-IFRA offers training program for female journalists [Africa]

Women with at least two years of media management experience in Botswana, Rwanda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Tanzania or Kenya can apply for a leadership program.
The World Association of Newspaper and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) seeks applicants for Women in News (WIN), a leadership development program aiming to advance and empower women in African media.
The program, which will will run from September 2018 to June 2019, offers online leadership and media management training; one-on-one coaching support; peer mentoring; and national and regional networking opportunities.
The deadline is Aug. 15.

AAB College organizes summer school on diversity, migration [Europe]

Students and recent graduates can apply for this summer program.
AAB College organizes the AAB International Summer Academy Aug. 13 to 24 in Kosovo.
This year's academy is divided into three programs: international law, minority rights and conflict resolution in Kosovo and the Balkans; migration, diversity, and economic growth – case of Western Balkan countries; and intercultural communication and linguistic map of Kosovo – languages, dialects and varieties spoken in Kosovo and their social and geographic aspects. 
The program is free for participants from Kosovo, Albania and Macedonia. Registration costs EUR150 for students from other Balkan countries.
The regular program fee is EUR350, including registration, lectures and seminars, accommodation, daily transportation and study tours. 
Scholarships are available for those who cannot afford the program fee. To apply for a scholarship, contact summerschool@ aab-edu .net.
