Finland Program offers scholarship [Worldwide]

Aspiring journalists can apply for a foreign correspondents’ program in Finland.
This program, sponsored by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, provides an opportunity for students to learn about the work of a correspondent in a foreign country and experience Finnish society.
Participants will meet with professionals and politicians, spend a weekend with a Finnish family and take cultural trips. The program takes place Aug. 6 to 24.
The scholarships cover flights, accommodation in a student residence, meals and events.
The program is open to citizens from the following countries: Brazil, China, Colombia, Egypt, India, Japan, Kenya, Lebanon, Mexico, Nigeria, Peru, Republic of Korea, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand and United States.
Applicants must be fluent in English and born between 1989 and 1998.
The deadline to apply is March 30.
