Grants available for cross-border journalism [Europe]

Teams of journalists and/or news organizations based in at least two EU member states or at least one EU member state and one official EU candidate country can apply.

Investigative Journalism for Europe (IJ4EU), managed by a consortium led by the International Press Institute (IPI), has two calls for cross-border investigative journalism projects in the EU and EU candidate countries.

The Investigation Support scheme will provide EUR5,000 to EUR50,000 to new cross-border investigative projects. The deadline to apply is June 14.

The Publication Support scheme will provide additional, shorter-term support  of up to EUR6,250 for the completion of cross-border investigative projects that are already underway. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until Sept. 18.
