GRABA Film Festival seeks entries [Latin America]

Latin American filmmakers can participate in this film festival.
The Latin American Film Festival GRABA Mendoza will take place March 14 to 18 in Mendoza, Argentina.
The film competition is accepting audiovisual works produced in Latin America in four categories: Latin American Feature Films Competition; Argentina Feature Films Competition; Argentina TV/Web Series Competition; and Regional Competition of Short Films (students).
Winners of the first two categories will receive ARS100,000 (US$5,200). The TV/Web series winner will receive ARS50,000 (US$2,600), and the regional student competition will award ARS30,000 (US$1,500).
The deadline is Feb. 1.

BBC seeks broadcast journalist [Kenya]

Experienced journalists fluent in English can apply for this position in Nairobi.
The BBC is hiring a broadcast journalist to join BBC Africa's investigations team.
The journalist will produce a wide variety of multimedia output, including television and digital documentaries, to be broadcast across Africa.
Candidates must have significant experience in documentary and investigative documentary production. Fluency in Swahili, French, Hausa or another African language is desirable.

Jerusalem Press Club fellowship open [Worldwide]

Journalism graduates with interest in international reporting can apply for this fellowship.
The Jerusalem Press Club is accepting applicants for its paid reporting fellowships at Israeli and international media outlets based in Israel.
The program starts June 2018 and lasts up to three months. In addition to the internships, fellows work on a personal reporting project under the guidance of a mentor and participate in an enrichment program on the different issues facing Israel and the territories.
The fellowship provides flight tickets, the first week of accommodations and a US$1,200 monthly allowance.

CIFF accepting applications for early childhood development reporting fellowship [Africa, Asia, Brazil]

Journalists covering issues of child health and development in Bangladesh, Brazil, India, Kenya, Nigeria and Tanzania are eligible.
The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ), in partnership with the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), is accepting applications for the Early Childhood Development Reporting Fellowship.
During the yearlong program, fellows will receive training, mentoring and financial support to produce stories on nutrition and early-childhood development. The program also includes two reporting trips to a country that is implementing a successful and innovative approach to supporting childhood development. 
Applicants must be employed by a news outlet or have a commitment to publish/broadcast from a news outlet.
The deadline is March 4.
