Foreign Policy Interrupted seeks fellows [Worldwide]

Women academics, entrepreneurs, journalists, students and business professionals ages 25 and older can apply.
Foreign Policy Interrupted's fellowship program aims to diversify voices and opinions in the foreign policy space, offering media training and mentoring at partnering media institutions.
The program has two core components: a six-week online module, followed by a nonresident “externship” with a major media outlet, lasting one to three months. The next fellowship cycle begins June.
Candidates must be fluent in English and demonstrate engagement in foreign policy matters. 
The deadline to apply is May 15.

Community Media Fund accepting proposals [Africa]

Image result for mediaCommunity media, civil society and nongovernmental organizations in Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa can apply for funding.
The Bloomberg Media Initiative Africa (BMIA) and the Ford Foundation seek proposals for the Community Media Fund (CMF). 
Applicants must produce and disseminate media content on their host communities; and/or focus on transparency and accountability, financial journalism, financial literacy, greater access to data, social justice or investigative reporting.
The minimum grant amount is US$10,000.
The deadline is May 24.
