Community Media Fund accepting proposals [Africa]

Community media, civil society and nongovernmental organizations in Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa can apply for funding.

The Bloomberg Media Initiative Africa (BMIA) and the Ford Foundation seek proposals for the Community Media Fund (CMF). 

Applicants must produce and disseminate media content on their host communities; and/or focus on transparency and accountability, financial journalism, financial literacy, greater access to data, social justice or investigative reporting.

The minimum grant amount is US$10,000.

The deadline is May 24.
