Students ages 26 and younger with an associate's degree or less can apply for this program.
La Chance, which promotes diversity in the media, offers a free preparation course for aspiring journalists.
Each year, 350 volunteer journalists train around 80 scholarship students for the journalism school entry tests in the cities of Paris, Marseille, Toulouse, Strasbourg, Grenoble and Rennes.
Applicants will be shortlisted for an interview. A written exercise will be sent to those on the shortlist and must be brought to the interview, which will take place in October.
The preparation course will take place between mid-November and June.
