Health journalism program seeks fellows [US]

Professional and freelance journalists from print, broadcast and online media with three years of experience and an interest in health issues can apply for a fellowship.

The University of Southern California's Center for Health Journalism offers the 2020 National Health Journalism Fellowship.

The program, which features a journalism institute July 19 to 23, explores the intersection between community health and policy.

Fellows also receive guidance for up to six months and a US$2,000 to US$10,000 grant to work on a reporting project. The program pays all travel and hotel costs.

The deadline to apply is March 27.
