Grant available for solution journalism [Central America]

Journalists residing in El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua can apply to this program.

The Gabo Foundation and the Open Society Foundations are organizing a solutions journalism program that will deliver seven grants of up to US$3,400 to investigative projects in print, radio/podcast, audiovisual or digital formats.

Special attention will be given to applications related to citizen security, climate change, transparency and initiatives against corruption.

Selected journalists will have four months to carry out their investigation and publish the resulting story.

The deadline is March 31.
