Project leaders in the areas of conservation, education, research, storytelling and technology can apply for a grant.
National Geographic is accepting proposals for its Exploration Grant.
Possible works may include photography, filmmaking, cartography, journalism or digital media and cover one of the three National Geographic lenses:
wildlife, changing planet or human journey.
Selected projects receive between US$10,000 and US$30,000.
Applicants are expected to demonstrate successful completion of similar projects with measurable and/or tangible results.
The deadline is July 10.
