Conference, Study grants available [MENA]

Journalists, researchers and activists whose work focuses on Arab societies can apply for the program.

Funded by the Ford Foundation and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), the Arab Council for the Social Sciences (ACSS) announces a new cycle of its grants program on youth and urban spatial inequalities in the Arab Region.

The program funds five kinds of activities: travel grants (conferences/workshops), internship support, organizing workshops, pilot studies and dissemination events.

Grants of US$4,000 will be available.

The deadline is Aug. 20.
