Registration for journalism research conference ongoing [Brazil]

Journalism professors, students and professionals are invited to this event in São Paulo

The Brazilian Association of Journalism Researchers (SBPJor, in Portuguese) will hold the 16th National Meeting of Journalism Researchers Nov. 7 to 9 at the Anhembi Morumbi University and the FIAM-FAAM University Center.

This year's conference will focus on conflict reporting and include workshops, round tables, paper presentations and book launches.

The event will also feature the eight annual Meeting of Young Journalism Researchers, followed by the first Brazil-France-Francophone Belgium Journalism Research Conference Nov. 12 and 13.

Registration costs BRL80 to BRL365, with discounts available until Sept. 15. The event is free for UAM and FIAM-FAAM undergraduate students.

The regular deadline is Oct. 30.
