ECPMF offers program for endangered journalists [Turkey]

Threatened media freedom activists and journalists from Turkey can apply for this program.
The European Centre for Press and Media Freedom (ECPMF) offers the Journalist-in-Residence program to endangered journalists.
The program enables selected applicants to leave an unsafe environment of oppression and anxiety to recover and find new strength for three to six months between November 2018 and June 2019.
The ECPMF provides a rent-free, furnished apartment in Leipzig and a monthly grant of EUR1,000.
Candidates must must have worked full time and for at least five years as a journalist and be proficient in English, French or German.
The deadline is Sept. 23.
