IRE, WBEZ-Chicago offers scholarships for data reporting [US]

Journalists, journalism students, journalism educators and independent journalists can apply for a scholarship to attend this training.

The Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE) and WBEZ-Chicago are organizing a hands-on workshop on R, an open-source programming language, Nov. 12 to 14 in Chicago.

Participants will learn how to import, clean, analyze and visualize data.

The scholarship will cover the registration and one-year IRE membership/renewal.

The deadline to apply is Sept. 10.
