Fund for journalism training available [Ethiopia]

Nongovernmental and nonprofit organizations can apply for funding.

The U.S. Embassy in Ethiopia are accepting applications from organizations interested in carrying out a journalism training program connecting media and government.

The program will bring international experts to hold side-by-side training for journalists and government officials in conducting interviews, followed by interactive practical sessions.  

Proposals must show a capacity to manage logistical planning, including the ability to locate and secure meeting spaces, refreshments and lodging, as well as to facilitate the procurement of training materials and related services.  

Funds will cover logistics as well as administrative costs.

The deadline is Aug. 17.
