Journalists, students and others interested in covering the metropolitan area of São Paulo are invited to attend this course.
Fundação Escola de Política e Sociologia de São Paulo (FESPSP, in Portuguese) organizes a course on the news coverage of city peripheries Saturdays from Aug. 11 to Sept. 1 in São Paulo.
Participants will learn from Agência Mural correspondents about the process of reporting on the underprivileged outskirts.
Among the topics are the outskirt's place in the news; where the story is; multiple formats to tell a story; use of data, creative writing and content production for social media; and new spaces for content production and initiatives in Latin America.
Registration is open, but spots are limited.
