Journalism fellowships available [US]

Journalists of color committed to investigative work are invited to apply for this program. 
The Fund for Investigative Journalism (FIJ), in partnership with Inside Climate NewsThe Marshall ProjectIda B. Wells Society and Reveal from The Center for Investigative Reporting, organizes an yearlong diversity fellowship.
The program that aims to expand opportunities for diverse journalists in watchdog reporting, with an emphasis on journalists of color.
Four fellows will work with one of FIJ’s partner outlets to produce deeply reported investigations on climate change and the environment, social justice and the U.S. criminal justice system, and government accountability and the abuse of power.
The fellowship provides US$15,000 that can be used for reporting costs, such as travel, document fees, transcriptions and equipment rentals. Any remaining amount can be used as a personal stipend.
The deadline is Oct. 1.
