Investigative journalists with experience in print, electronic and digital media can register for this online course in Spanish.
The Center for Digital Journalism (CFPD, in Spanish) at the University of Guadalajara organizes the course "Herramientas en línea para la investigación periodística" ("Digital Tools for Investigative Journalists") Sept. 24 to Oct. 4.
Participants will learn to master search engines and refine document searches, to understand how web syndication, social networks and bookmarks work, to integrate multimedia elements and visualizations to news stories and more.
The cost is MXN2,100 (US$100).
The deadline is Sept. 9.
