Aspiring documentarians can apply for a mentored working trip to Tanzania.
World Nomads is accepting applications for a travel film scholarship. The winner will spend 12 days in October filming in the shadows of Mt. Kilimanjaro under the mentorship of filmmaker and director Brian Rapsey.
The fellowship provides airfare, recording gear and travel insurance. The winner will be expected to produce a short video documentary for the World Nomads site.
Applicants must submit a 3-minute film about an inspirational travel story around the themes of courage, kindness or acceptance.
The deadline to apply is July 10.
