Budding writers are invited to attend this workshop.
The Sun Magazine will host a writing retreat Oct. 19 to 21. at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California.
Participants will work on their writing, get to know editorial staff and Sun readers, and meet one-on-one with founder and editor Sy Safransky.
Registration, including meals and accommodations, starts at US$420. There are four scholarships available to cover lodging, meals and tuition for those who are unable to afford the retreat, in addition to a US$300 stipend to cover travel, childcare or other retreat-related expenses
The scholarship deadline is Aug. 5.
