Mexico's Grupo Salinas announces the 13th edition of its essay contest "Caminos de la Libertad," which aims to promote discussion and understanding of freedom as a fundamental human right.
Essays must be original, in Spanish and have 5,250 to 14,000 words.
The contest has two categories: general public and students. The first has prizes of US$15,000, US$10,000 and US$5,000. There is a single prize in the student category of US$5,000.
The deadline is July 15.
