Fellowships for journalists open [US, Germany]

Journalists in the United States and Germany with at least five years of experience can apply for a reporting fellowship.
The McCloy Fellowships, sponsored by the American Council on Germany, provide American and German journalists with the opportunity to travel overseas to conduct on-site research and interviews and pursue stories of their own design.
Candidates must submit a project proposal, including how it addresses tomorrow’s topics today and the relevance for the relationship between Germany and the United States.
The fellowship provides a US$5,000 stipend, which covers international airfare and domestic travel, as well as room and board, for a minimum of 21 days.
The deadline is June 1.
