Female journalists from Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan and Palestine can apply for this program.
The World Association of Newspaper and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) is accepting applications for Women in News (WIN) leadership development program, which equips women media professionals in middle and senior management positions with the strategies, skills and support networks they need to take on a greater leadership role within their organizations.
Participants will work toward a specific career goal within their media company or implement a workplace project of their choice. They will be expected to travel on specific occasions throughout the program, which will run from December 2017 until June 2018.
Applicants must have a minimum of two years in a middle management position (editorial or a senior journalist) within newspapers and digital media.
The deadline is Oct. 31.
