Photography contest accepting entries [MENA]

Professional and amateur photographers ages 18 and older can apply for this contest.

The Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award (HIPA), based in Dubai, seeks entries in four categories: "the moment," portfolio, general and time-lapse (video).

Photos must not contain any tags, signatures, initials, frame, borders, logos or any other references and/or marks added by the participant.

The organizer will award a total US$423,000 in cash prizes. In addition to the US$120,000 grand prize, five winners will be chosen from each category and will receive US$6,000 to US$ 25,000; and three contestants will receive special awards.

The deadline is Oct. 31.
