Journalists who report about women in sports or who are interested in sports and gender can apply to attend this event.
Discover Football, a network of women who use soccer as a tool for empowerment, will host its Women – Football – Media Conference Dec. 6 to 10 in Berlin, Germany.
The conference aims to offer a space for women involved in soccer from all over the world. Participants will have access to underreported stories, opportunities to learn about the intersection of gender and sports, develop and publish stories about women in football and become part of a global network of women in sports.
The organizer, with support from the German Foreign Office, will cover travel costs, accommodation, visa fees and part of meals during the event.
The deadline is Oct. 16.
