CFPD hosts online workshop on data journalism [Latin America]

Journalists with or without experience and knowledge in data journalism can register for this online workshop in Spanish.
The Center for Digital Journalism (CFPD) at the University of Guadalajara will offer a data journalism course Jan. 8 to March 25, 2018.
Participants will learn how to extract data, clean it, put it into context, combine it, verify it and make it work inside a story and an investigation. The workshop will also address the basics of data visuals.The instructor is Hassel Fallas.
The cost is MXN3,500 for Mexicans and US$170 for those living outside Mexico.
The deadline to register is Dec. 10.
