Storytelling competition highlights climate change [Asia]

The Asian Cities Climate Change Resilience Network (ACCCRN), in partnership with Thomson Reuters Foundation (TRF), has launched the ACCCRN Storytelling Competition 2017. 
The competition theme is "Beat the heat: how inclusive cities are coping with rising temperatures." Contestants must tell a story about an urban heat risk issue they feel deserves urgent attention.
Entries should be written in English and have less than 800 words, and include one or more original, previously unpublished images.
Finalists will be invited to attend an Urban Heat Resilience storytelling workshop Nov. 27 to 30 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The two top winners will be announced on the last day of the workshop. The first and second place winners will receive an iPad and a mirrorless camera, respectively.
The deadline is Sept. 30.
