Aspiring documentarians can participate in this festival in London.
The 4th BBC Arabic Festival is accepting films that shed light on the Arab world today. The festival will take place spring 2018.
The official selection, along with the winner in each category (short film, short documentary, feature documentary, reportage and digital journalism), will be decided by a panel of judges made up of experts and practitioners in the field of journalism and film.
Films must have been made after Jan. 1, 2016.
Two special awards, the BBC Arabic Young Journalist Award and the Best Work in Journalism Award, will be chosen by the BBC Arabic editorial team.
All of the directors whose films are selected by the judges will be invited to come to London and present their work.
The deadline is Oct. 20.
