The competition, sponsored by the nonprofit FEAC Foundation, will recognize stories in print, photojournalism, radio, TV, film and college press. This year's topic is civil society organizations.
The competition will distribute BRL75,000 in prizes in eight regional categories, six national categories and a special award.
Entries must have been published or broadcast between Oct. 10, 2016 and Oct. 10, 2017.
The deadline to apply is Oct. 11.
