German Parliament offers program for journalists [Europe, MENA, US]

Journalists ages 30 and younger who are proficient in German can apply for this internship and training in Berlin.
The International Parliamentary Scholarship, organized by the German Bundestag, offers young people the opportunity to get to know the German parliamentary system and political decision-making processes and to gain practical experience of parliamentary work during five months of internship in the Bundestag, the German Parliament.
The internship will take place from March 1 to July 31, 2018. Interns also attend seminars and summer classes at Humboldt University or other universities in Berlin.
Applicants must be residents of Egypt, Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Estonia, France, Georgia, Greece, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Croatia, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Libya, Morocco, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Palestinian territories, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Syria, Czech Republic, Turkey, Tunisia, Ukraine, Hungary, United States or Cyprus.
The scholarship provides a monthly stipend of EUR500 (US$560) as well as insurance and accommodations.
The deadline is June 30.
