Energy journalism workshop open [US]

The UT Energy Journalism Workshop will take place Sept. 27 and 28 at the University of Texas in Austin. The workshop is hosted by the university’s Energy InstituteSchool of Journalism and the Kay Bailey Center for Energy, Law & Business.
The program will feature presentations from UT Austin faculty and energy researchers on issues ranging from the growth of distributed generation resources and integration of renewables into the electric grid to the latest research in carbon capture and sequestration, emerging trends in water use for energy production and sustainable building design.
Spots are limited to 25 participants, who will receive domestic travel, lodging and complimentary meals.
The deadline is Aug. 28.
