Mentorship program for women photographers available [Worldwide]

Women and non-binary documentary photographers of any nationality can apply for this remote program.

Women Photograph is launching its 2021 Mentorship Program, which will pair industry leaders with 24 budding photojournalists over the course of a year. 

Mentors will include editors from The New York Times, The Guardian, the Associated Press, Apple and others. Participants must dedicate three to five hours a week to the program.

Candidates must have less than five years of professional experience.

The deadline is Oct. 1.

Vacancy: Le Figaro seeks video journalist [France]

Broadcast journalists can apply for this position in Paris.

Le Figaro is looking for a journalist for the morning show of its broadcast service Figaro Live starting Aug. 4.

Responsibilities include news monitoring, attending the morning editorial conferences and producing videos, photos and animations as well as managing a student journalist. The selected journalist will report to the editors-in-chief and desk editor.

Candidates must be proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop. The position may include some shooting in the newsroom but no field reporting.

Depending on the evolution of the current health crisis, the position may be remote over the summer.
