The SKeyes Center offers Online safety training [MENA]


Journalists based in the MENA region can enroll in this online course.

The SKeyes Center for Media and Cultural Freedom, ACOS Alliance, Frontline Freelance Register (FFR), Gulf Center for Human Rights (GCHR) and Marie Colvin Journalists' Network (MCJN) are offering 50 journalists free access to a safety training course provided online by media safety trainers at Silk Road Training.

Selected participants will be able to access Silk Road’s platform over a period of 30 days, starting on Nov. 16.

The course includes a series of five live webinars that will include interactive scenarios covering life saving first aid, civil unrest, frontline conflict safety and digital security. On completion, each participant will receive a certificate.

The course is available in English and Arabic.

The deadline is Oct. 30.
