The Intercept offers reporting grants [Brazil]

Black reporters can apply for reporting grants of up to BRL3,000.

The Intercept Brasil offers a reporting grant for black journalists who want to investigate any topic and hold the powerful accountable.

Selected reporters will also receive mentorship and a weeklong online training on investigative journalism, digital security, fact-checking, editing and social media.

Candidates must submit a pitch for an original story that may have significant impact and cause real change. Five pitches will be chosen. Reporting should be completed in February.

The deadline is Dec. 11.
