Film Empowerment Program accepting applications [Kenya]

Independent documentarians and production companies can apply for funding.

The Kenya Film Commission has launched the second cycle of its Film Empowerment Program.

Funding is intended for the development of feature films, documentaries and TV concepts; production of feature films and documentaries); and film festivals and marketing. Grant amounts will vary.

Budding to experienced filmmakers are encouraged to apply. Priority will be given to children content.

The deadline is Dec. 18.
