Reporters Without Borders offers Temporary Retreat Program [Latin America]

Latin American journalists who are or have been victims of censorship, threats and/or attacks as a result of their reporting work can apply.

Reporters Without Borders (RWB) Spain organizes the Temporary Retreat Program, which offers Latin American media professionals a three-month stay in Madrid with accommodation and living expenses included.

The program aims to offer journalists living under tense professional circumstances a period of rest, as well as the opportunity to attend training courses in Spain.

Selected candidates will travel to Spain on Dec. 1 and return to their countries of origin on Feb.  25, 2021.

The deadline is Oct. 30.
