Free Press Unlimited supports crowdfunded journalism [Eastern Europe]

Teams of journalists from eight countries can apply for this cross-border, collaborative program.

Press Start, Free Press Unlimited, Free Press for Eastern Europe (FPEE), and the Prague Media School have launched the project “Enhancing audience-supported collaborations for empowered media and societies,” co-funded by the European Commission.

The program will facilitate collaboration between journalists from Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Poland, Slovenia, Croatia, Czech Republic and Greece.

Selected teams will develop their collaborative journalism skills, network with journalists and get their project financed through crowdfunding on the Press Start crowdfunding platform.

The deadline is Oct. 31.
