Print, TV and video journalists living in Latin America who covered health issues in 2018 and 2019 are invited to compete.
Roche Labs Latin America and the Fundación Gabo (FNPI) call for the eighth edition of the Roche Health Journalism Award.
Entries may be submitted in three categories: audio journalism, digital journalism and daily coverage. Works must focus on one or more of the following topics: noncommunicable diseases, rare or orphan diseases, innovation in health care, innovation in health systems and regulation, reforms and public policies.
Winners will receive a full scholarship to participate in a workshop of their choice offered by Fundación Gabo or may choose to attend the Gabriel García Márquez Journalism Award Festival, held every year in Medellín, Colombia.
The deadline has been extended to May 31.
