Grants for coronavirus reporting collaborations available [Worldwide]

Journalists are invited to submit proposals that develop innovative approaches to reporting on the novel coronavirus crisis.

The Pulitzer Center has launched the Coronavirus News Collaboration Challenge.

Proposals must involve a strategic and concerted effort by multiple journalists and/or newsrooms to pursue a reporting project together, leveraging resources, expertise and publication platforms.

The reporting initiative is especially interested in proposals that focus on systemic, underreported issues underlying the coronavirus crisis, use data-driven and/or interdisciplinary approaches to reporting on coronavirus  and hold the powerful accountable

Grantees will receive between US$5,000 and US$30,000.

Applications will be reviewed on a first-come, rolling basis.
