Seasoned journalists can apply for this program in Lagos.The Civic Hive Media Fellowship is a six-month intensive program focusing on impactful stories.
The fellowship is looking for stories that will advance and bring attention to transparency, accountability and civic engagement. Possible themes include gender inequality, health, people with special needs, agriculture, education, social investment programs, civic issues and the extractive industry.
Six fellows will receive a monthly stipend of NGN150,000, in addition to attending meetings with stakeholders and training sessions.
The 2020 fellowship will run April 27 to Sept. 31.
The deadline is March 31.
