Poynter Institute offers training on digital media diversity [US]

Journalists of color who work in the digital space with leadership responsibilities or have demonstrated leadership potential can apply for this training program.

The Poynter Institute, in partnership with The Washington Post, is accepting applications for the Leadership   Academy for Diversity in Digital Media.

A total of 30 journalists will be selected for
the academy, which will take place June 14 to 19 at Poynter’s campus in St. Petersburg, Florida.

The training will focus on critical skills journalists of color need on their paths to leadership in digital journalism and technology.

There is no cost for this program. A limited number of travel stipends is available.

The deadline is Feb. 14.
