IFP offers Journalism training in Germany [Central, Eastern Europe]

Journalists fluent in German can participate in this program.

The Institute to Promote Journalistic Talent (IFP, in German) will host East Course, a three-week seminar designed for journalists from Central and Eastern Europe. The seminar will take place July 5 to 24, 2020 in Munich.

The training will address different journalistic forms and styles, including interviews, reportage, online research, online verification and mobile reporting. At the end of the training, participants will receive a certificate.

The seminar will be held in German. Journalists ages 19 to 32 who are working in print, radio or TV media are eligible to attend.

The tuition fee for the workshop, including meals and accommodation for three weeks, is EUR120 for participants from EU countries and EUR90 for participants from countries outside the European Union. Transportation expenses will be covered by a grant.

The deadline is Feb. 15, 2020.
