Feevale University offers an introductory data-driven journalism course Feb. 10 to 12, 2020 in Novo Hamburgo, Rio Grande do Sul.

Participants will learn about the origin and conceptual definition of data journalism; computer-assisted reporting; the inverted pyramid for data-driven journalism; data analysis tools and techniques for journalism; and data visualization. They will also work on a project.

The registration deadline is Feb. 8, 2020. The cost is BRL200, with discounts available for Feevale students.
