AIRP seeks entries for journalism competition [Russia]

Russian journalists and media organizations can submit works to this contest.

The Alliance of Independent Regional Publishers (AIRP) is accepting entries for the journalism contest "Turn the light on."

Entries must raise awareness on important social problems and contribute to positive change and social impact.

Works must have been published between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2019.

Categories are "investigation", "problem", solutions journalism and "there is room for solo players" – for journalistic materials about individuals who promoted positive changes in society.

Winners in four categories will receive equipment for mobile journalists. The overall winner will be invited to the annual Summit of Regional Publishers 2020.

The deadline is Jan. 10, 2020.
