Registration ongoing for summit on climate change reporting [Europe]

Journalists, media experts, freelancers and journalism students in Europe can apply to attend this program.

The European Journalism Centre is organizing the next  News Impact Summit on Oct. 7 in Birmingham, England. The event is sponsored by the Google News Initiative.

The workshop will present innovative ways of changing the way journalists tell stories about climate change, with speakers from the BBC, Carbon Brief, Climate Home, El Surtidor, Al-Jazeera, Quartz, the Lookout Station and Extinction Rebellion.

The News Impact events are free of charge. Travel and accommodation are at the expense of participants.
