Online workshop on digital storytelling, data journalism available [Latin America]

Journalists with experience in data journalism can register for this online workshop in Spanish.

The Center for Digital Journalism (CFPD) at the University of Guadalajara will offer a digital storytelling and data journalism course Nov. 4 to Dec. 15.

Participants will learn how to create interactive visualizations to tell data-based stories, following principles of graphic design and using online tools, without coding.

The instructor is digital journalist Hassel Fallas. The cost of the course is MXN2,300 for Mexicans and US$115 for those living outside Mexico.

The deadline is Oct. 20.
