Journalism contest focuses on migration reporting [Armenia]

Journalists from Armenia can compete for cash prizes.

The International Center for Migration Policy Development, Repat Armenia Foundation and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Armenia are organizing the journalism contest "Suitcase 2019" on migration and border management issues.

Contest categories include TV programs, radio programs, print, multimedia and photo. The winner in each nomination will receive AMD250,000.

Additionally, special prizes will be given for the best articles on displaced Syrians in Armenia, integration of refugees in Armenia and repatriation.

Works must have been published or broadcast between Jan. 1 to Oct. 31, 2019.

The deadline is Nov. 1.
