International educational exchange program seeks journalism applications [Lebanon]

Lebanese journalists, as well as Palestinian residents of Lebanon, can apply for this international educational exchange program in the United States.

The Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program is accepting students for the 2020-2021 academic year, starting in August or September 2020.

Fulbright scholars serve as cultural ambassadors and should be prepared to speak about their countries, cultures, and research to academic and community groups.

The program covers round-trip airfare between Lebanon and the United States, tuition, books, health insurance and room and board.

Applicants must be proficient in English.

The deadline is Dec. 3.
